Coming off our Silverwood vineyard established in 1998 home of our Foothills Pinot Noir and Pigface Chardonnay. Planted on a gentle but highly exposed north slope in Balnarring, the eastern most foothills of the Mornington Peninsula.

2022 Foothills Pinot Noir

Smaller berries in 2022 gave us more skin concertation and fruit pop. Fully destemmed fruit, whole berry ferments allowing us to focus on the quality fruit profile.

There was no addition of sulphur, wild yeast ferment.

Aged in older oak barrel (15% new) for 11 months.

Pretty bright red fruits, delicate tannin structure with layers of spice on the finish. Our favourite Foothills to date.
